Carl L. Britt, Jr.
Attorney Carl L. Britt, Jr. was born and raised in Fairmont, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History. He attended Campbell University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He has been licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina since 1980.
Attorney Carl L. Britt, Jr. has been in private practice in Cumberland County since 1980 when he moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina. He has practiced in many areas of North Carolina law, including Federal law. He is an experienced trial attorney who has tried cases in State and Federal Court, and he has argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Federal Appellate Courts. Currently he concentrates his practice in personal injury plaintiff litigation and North Carolina criminal defense. His experience spans more than 40 years and he has successfully represented thousands of clients.

Zachary D. McLaurin
Attorney Zachary D. McLaurin was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended The University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and minored in History. He then attended North Carolina Central School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Zachary has been licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina since 2019.
Zachary began practicing law as an Assistant Public Defender in the Public Defender’s Office of Cumberland County. Zachary held that position until 2021. He then went on to practice law as an Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County under District Attorney, William West. During his time as a Public Defender and Prosecutor, he gained extensive experience in criminal law by defending and prosecuting criminal offenses such as traffic violations, driving while impaired offenses, assaults, Death by Motor vehicles, and many other misdemeanor and felony offenses under the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Zachary has been practicing personal injury plaintiff litigation since he began at our Law Firm in 2024. He is an experienced trial attorney who has tried multiple jury trials in Superior Court. Zachary can also be found advocating on his clients’ behalf in settlement negotiations, reviewing medical records, preparing court filings, and advising clients on their cases.
